Limitations and exclusions
- Any work on gas appliances or gas pipework is carried out only by Gas Safe registered engineers, in line with legal requirements
- Underlying electrical supply upgrades, where needed for certain heating systems, are scoped and priced separately
- Water supply and drainage infrastructure beyond the property boundary is outside our scope and is a matter for the relevant water authority

How do I check an engineer is Gas Safe registered?
You can check any engineer's registration and the categories of gas work they are qualified for on the Gas Safe Register website using their licence number, which they should be able to provide and which should also appear on their ID card.
Can plumbing and heating work be included in a wider building project?
Yes. Plumbing and heating is commonly integrated into extension, renovation and new-build projects and is coordinated with the wider building programme rather than scheduled separately.
What should I do if I smell gas?
Leave the property, do not use any switches or naked flames, and call the National Gas Emergency Service on 0800 111 999 immediately. This is not something to wait for a scheduled appointment for.
Why has my water pressure dropped?
Common causes include a partially closed stopcock, a fault with the boiler or pressure vessel on a combi system, or a blockage or leak somewhere in the supply. We diagnose the specific cause on a visit rather than guessing over the phone.
Should I replace old lead or galvanised steel pipework?
Lead pipework is a genuine health concern and worth replacing if found, and old galvanised steel pipework tends to corrode internally and restrict flow over time. We flag either if found during other plumbing work and can advise on priority.
